Raymond Lesniak on speaker list at iGaming North America Conference

The

IGamingNorthAmerica
iGaming North America Conference takes place at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, Las Vegas in April and sports betting will be one of the key topics on the agenda.

The show takes place between 14-16 April and New Jersey Senator Raymond Lesniak, who is a strong supporter of legalising sports betting in the state, will be presenting the “Progress Report – The Legalization of Sports Betting” on the third day of the conference at 3pm.

Lesniak will update attendees on where the effort stands, prospects for success and what to expect, followed by a discussion with a team of experts.

The panelists joining Lesniak will be David Purdum, gaming industry reporter for ESPN, Benjie Cherniak, managing director of sports betting information website Don Best Sports, and Terry Leiweke, managing director of investment firm Absolute Sports Info/The Linemakers.

Leiweke said: "This is a great panel - very diversified, with panelists who have been around all aspects of this issue for quite a while. Their commentary will be very insightful and informative. If you're interested in the sports-betting industry, you won't want to miss this unfiltered conversation.”

Nevada is currently the only US state which allows wagering on single-game sports, while Montana, Delaware and Oregon have limited forms of sports betting.
