Buhagiar co-founded RB Capital, an investment firm specialising in gaming, financial technology and media.
Xace is hoping that Buhagiar can lend his industry expertise to support its “ambitious” global expansion plans. The firm also expressed excitement about his “valuable mentorship” to its senior management team.

In addition to RB Capital, Buhagiar is a founding partner of Yolo Investments, a venture capital firm focused on gaming and fintech. Since its inception, Yolo has more than €400m ($455m) in assets under management and investments in over 68 companies.

Xace offers banking services, including IBAN and payment accounts, to the gaming industry. Despite only having launched just over a year ago, the provider has already made several significant moves.
