With the intention of improving customer experience, Foxwoods is set to introduce additional food and beverage outlets, a new VIP lounge, a collectibles and memorabilia store, and enhanced seating options within existing gaming areas.
In a press statement, Foxwoods Resort Casino commented: “As we continue to trailblaze and redefine what it means to be a resort casino, our priority is continuing to provide innovative and high-quality experiences for everyone that walks through our halls; not just our guests, but also our team members.
“These new openings signify another wave of enhancements to show our appreciation for all our supporters over the past 30 years. We are just getting started.
“A destination for all, Foxwoods Resort Casino is a place where millions have celebrated life's big and small moments. These new openings and renovation projects aim to enhance the overall guest and workplace experience, showcasing a resort that continues to improve every year.”
One of the new dining options, Sushi by Bou, offers private dining experiences in the refurbished, 317-room, Great Cedar Hotel. The new food court will also feature Wingstop, a former restaurant that reopens on 22 March.
Another dining facility, the Veranda Café, is set to be transformed into the VIP Players' Lounge, featuring 225 seats, and will be offered to certain tiers of Foxwoods’ guests.
CardVault, a trading card and collectibles brand, is set to launch an outlet at Foxwoods this summer. The store will provide players with a space to buy, sell and trade sports cards and memorabilia. Fans will also be able to purchase premium artwork from various sports leagues, including NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL.
As part of its previous anniversary announcements, Foxwoods also unveiled a new bingo hall and expo centre.
