MMA figure Michael Bisping has entered a sponsorship agreement with crypto casino platform Lucky Block.

This partnership aims to bridge the gap between sports and online gaming, focusing on improving fan engagement and expanding both entities' reach.

The collaboration between Michael Bisping and Lucky Block aims to represent a convergence of interests, leveraging the growing popularity of MMA and crypto-based betting. Other examples of collaborations between crypto casinos and sports bodies can be seen with Stake.com and the F1

Lucky Block views this sponsorship as an opportunity to associate with a well-known athlete and tap into Bisping's fan base.

Damian Jacobs, Lucky Block's community and growth manager, said: "We are pleased to announce our sponsorship of UFC icon Michael Bisping. We believe this deal will be a powerful catalyst as we embark on the next leg of our journey to lead crypto gaming's conquest of the online sports entertainment and betting industry. This partnership shows that Lucky Block can mix it up with the other industry leaders. Our sponsorship of Michael Bisping shows we understand the importance of developing and exploiting the brand projection potential at the intersection between the sports domain and the disruptive power of crypto betting."

In related gambling and MMA news, SCCG partnered with MMA league Versus FC in September 2023, aiming to advance the MMA business model and focus on expanding into the Brazilian market. São Paulo, Brazil, recently witnessed the inaugural event of Versus FC at the ‘Thunder Fight Center’.
