Fluminense Football Club kicked off a festive celebration at their Laranjeiras headquarters on Monday night, marking the commencement of their partnership with Superbet, the club's new main sponsor.
The event, attended by 400 guests (including renowned former players), featured a live performance by singer Ferrugem as well as a parade showcasing branded uniforms.
The event commenced with a video presentation, reminiscing about key moments in Fluminense's history.
President Mário Bittencourt then addressed the significance of the partnership, stating: "This is a very special night for us. A night in which a big brand in the world market bets on Fluminense.
“This new sponsor, which is undoubtedly the biggest in the club's history, is the consolidation of the work we have been doing over the last five years. It is also a day to celebrate that the big brands once again believe in the greatness of our favourite team.”
Alexandre Fonseca, CEO of Superbet in Brazil, added: "We see commitment and serious work at the club. When you meet the Fluminense team, you see the way things are done, with austerity, seriousness and commitment. For a sponsor, this is extremely important."
Fluminense's partnership with Superbet encompasses both men's and women's football and spans three seasons, from 2024 to 2026. The debut of the new branding on the team's uniform is slated for their upcoming match against Colo-Colo at the Maracanã Stadium.
At the back end of 2023, Superbet also signed a partnership deal with Bragg Gaming to offer the company’s portfolio of titles across Brazil.
