Betsson CFO to leave post

Betsson Chief Financial Officer Kaaren Hilsen is set to leave the operator, one year after taking the role.

Betsson CFO to leave post

Hilsen is required to work a six-month notice period, and is set to take over the CEO vacancy at Swedish Telecoms provider Telenor. Betsson has already begun the process of recruiting her successor.

Pontus Lindwall, CEO, Betsson AB, said: “I would like to thank Kaaren for her contribution in getting Betsson back on track. I respect that she has received an offer she couldn’t refuse and wish her all the best for the future. Betsson is a stronger company than it was a year ago and I am sure that we will soon recruit a new CFO who wants to be part of taking Betsson to the next level.”
