SoftSwiss has expanded its offering to the African market after securing a licence to enter Nigeria.

The online gaming software supplier announced it will offer its products in the Nigeria market for the first time, with the region one of the fastest developing markets in Africa, specialising in the sports betting and lottery sector.

The supplier will look to utilise the growing sports betting market in Nigeria by launching its newly released SoftSwiss Sportsbook in the region.

The launch is the latest in a global expansion for the supplier, who entered the Indian, Japanese and South Korean markets in December through its online casino platform, while its sportsbook was adapted to the Indian market.

SoftSwiss founder Ivan Montik said: “Entering the Nigerian market marks an exceptional turning point for SoftSwiss, as we’re expanding our global presence to a brand new continent.

“Nigeria is considered one of the most fast-paced online gaming markets in terms of growth and we cannot wait to begin providing our services there. Nigeria is a great achievement for us and we’re planning on moving even further into other regulated markets.”
