The marketing agency, which specialises in promoting legal online gambling in the US, started promoting in the state immediately after the launch. The group has long-standing partnerships across the US with several leading sportsbooks.

“The logistics of New York State’s unique online sports betting laws meant that sportsbooks needed some time to meet regulatory standards,” a statement from the company read. “That struggle is in the past, and online sports betting is ready to write its first chapter in the Empire State.”

As New York is the fourth most populous state in the US, many experts predict that it will become one of the biggest online sports betting states in the near future. MediaTroopers is now aiming to use its expertise to take advantage of the situation.

“MediaTroopers has been operating in nearly every US state where online gambling is legal, including New York’s neighbouring states such as Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and others,” said MediaTroopers CEO Shmulik Segal. “So, adding New York to our portfolio is an exciting milestone that allows us to provide services to new audiences on the East Coast.

“MediaTroopers has seen launches of many states, but what’s the most amazing thing about this launch is the timing, right ahead of the NFL playoffs and Super Bowl. So, although we won’t know specific numbers for a few weeks, we are confident that the launch in NY will be one of the biggest we’ve seen.”
