After being established in 2021, the Miami-based iGaming company will debut its inaugural title on 20 January 2022.
Via a distribution agreement with Spearhead Studios, Armadillo will bring its first-ever release to players.
An animal-themed video slot game, 15 Armadillos is inspired by its namesake’s South Florida home and purportedly showcases “the natural beauty of the Everglades”.
According to Armadillo, players can win again and again due to its “wild re-spins” that accumulate “animal power” with each win.
“We are proud to debut our first game of many as an American-focused gaming studio,” remarked Armadillo’s Chief Operating Officer David Stoveld.
“Nestled in Florida’s beautiful Everglades, 15 Armadillos sets the tone for our innovative style, where volatile features are accumulated into each animal for a truly unique and rewarding player experience.”
Armadillo Studios is part of the EveryMatrix Group, and their deal in June 2021 marked the Malta-based provider’s first major US investment.
Since then, the fledgling Armadillo has gone on to sign various other agreements, including one with pro MMA fighter Amanda Nunes in December.
With its latest announcement, the studio teased a game to be launched later this year in partnership with Nunes. It said: “The studio has recently partnered with the famous female fighter Amanda Nunes for a branded casino game that is expected to hit the market in the second part of the year.”
Armadillo also remarked on its follow-up to 15 Armadillos, Queen of Egypt – Exotic Wilds, which is scheduled for release in the coming months.
