Fubo Gaming has secured market access to provide mobile betting services in Mississippi, Louisiana and Missouri.

The company, which is a subsidiary of FuboTV, has signed an agreement with Caesars Entertainment to bring Fubo Sportsbook to the three states, pending regulatory approval, and, in Missouri and Mississippi, the launch of online sports betting.

Currently, sports betting is only available in physical casinos in Mississippi, while legislation hasn’t been passed to allow any form of sports betting in Missouri. Both states could legalise online sports betting in 2022.

Scott Butera, President, Fubo Gaming, commented: “We are pleased to have the opportunity to extend our relationship with Caesars Entertainment as we expand access to Fubo Sportsbook across key markets in the US. Mississippi, Louisiana and Missouri all have passionate fanbases, particularly around college athletics, who will embrace our unique, immersive sports and wagering entertainment platform.”

This represents the second such agreement Fubo Gaming has entered into with Caesars Entertainment, previously securing access deals in New Jersey and Indiana, both of which are fully legalised states. Fubo Gaming also has market access agreements in place in Arizona, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.

With the new agreement, this takes the company’s total coverage to 10 states, although Fubo Sportsbook is currently live in just Iowa and Arizona.

Fubo Sportsbook was launched in 2021 and aims to tap into the desire for a combination of live sports viewing and in-play betting. With FuboTV, the company can integrate first-party user data to recommend relevant bets to its customers based on their content preferences.
