Three new Heads of Sales roles have been created, with Africa, LatAm and the UK and Europe the three key territories targeted by the company for growth.

Joe Andrews, who joins SIS from At the Races after eight years, takes up his new position as Head of Sales for Africa. He previously served as Key Account Manager and Commercial Manager at the joint-venture co-owned by Sky and Arena Racing Company.

Angel Calderon, previously Digital Sales Manager at SIS, is promoted to Head of Sales for LatAm and Iberia. In a prior role, Calderon previously worked for gambling operator, Codere.

Helen Ridley has been promoted to Head of Sales for UK and Europe, having previously spent seven years in account management roles at SIS.

Paul Witten, Commercial Director, SIS, commented: “These new appointments will significantly strengthen our commercial capability across our key markets globally, as we aim to further drive our presence in new and existing markets.

“I am confident the knowledge and expertise they bring to the team will be of real benefit to SIS and to our operator partners.”

The betting services supplier, which recently struck a deal with bet365 to supply horseracing content, also announced four new Commercial Manager appointments to further bolster the UK and European team.

Conall McSorley, Dave Richardson, Harri Hulatt and Andrew Kelly took up their respective positions as Commercial Managers recently.

The news follows a prior announcement that saw Julian Wheeler appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer.
