Kindred Group has renewed its support for Women in Tech Sweden, an annual conference dedicated to empowering women in the field of technology.

For the sixth consecutive year, Kindred has backed the event and will participate as a co-creating partner on 13 May.

While 2021’s conference was hosted virtually, this year will see attendees return to Stockholm where they will celebrate, support and discuss women working in the tech industry.

“Women in Tech this year wants to inspire and enlighten women who are already in the tech industry to stay within the field by providing a network,” said Anna Jein, Kindred Group Sustainability Manager.

“This is truly important, and we would like to contribute to that. Being part of Women in Tech is very fulfilling and our employees of all genders are very eager to take part on the day.

“Diversity and gender equality is a strategic ambition and fundamental to securing talent for our future success – it differentiates the top performers from the rest, regardless of what industry you are in.”

The theme for 2022 is “Level Up” and concerns career development, as well as driving change. With this in mind, Kindred will arrange a meet-up at its Stockholm office on 18 May.

This will be open to all conference attendees and give them an opportunity to hear Kindred employees share their insights and experience.

Jein concluded: “This year’s theme ‘Level Up’ is about constant development, broadening your horizons and driving change.

“It’s something that we at Kindred can certainly relate to and try to incorporate into our culture and values.”
