CryptoLists.com adds new casino section to its website

CryptoLists.com has added a new overview section that’s dedicated to casino offerings while further announcing a forthcoming sportsbook section.

The page on the website now has casino-related topics and looks at new crypto casinos, real money casinos, decentralised casinos, and Bitcoin and Ethereum casinos.

The crypto-only site has included real money casinos in its offering because most people still prefer gambling in traditional currencies. The company stated that ‘branching out into traditional casinos will help the top list site to venture further into the online gambling space, adding more value for its visitors.’

CryptoLists.com Co-Founder Markus Jalmerot said: "The company's other co-founder and I come from the casino space, so it was always an intention of ours to explore crypto casinos once it was established as a flourishing niche."

"We perhaps didn't imagine it getting off the ground so quickly, but we're really happy at how the casino section of Crypto Lists Ltd. is shaping up. And, of course, we're not forgetting about the coins and exchanges that our visitors know us for. We're simply adding another string to the bow, so to speak."

Recently Softswiss reported that crypto bets had fallen in Q3 last year, with €6.3bn in crypto bets placed by bettors, representing a 24% drop from Q3 2021 – which totalled €8.2bn ($8.9bn). 

Furthermore, the report demonstrated the shifting difference in crypto spending vs cash, with 44% of bets placed in Q3 2021 being crypto-based. However, in Q3 2022, this figure had vastly decreased to 29%.

The reasons for this could be rooted in the cost-of-living crisis, which has affected how much people are willing to risk money by putting it into crypto – meaning more people are just placing bets in traditional fiat currencies.
