The 'U2: UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere,' which premiered at the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas on 29 September 2023, has been extended with the addition of 11 new dates spanning January and February 2024.

This extension follows the success of the first nine sold-out performances and reflects the demand for live music experiences.

The announcement was jointly made by Sphere Entertainment Co. and Live Nation, signifying a new collaboration in live entertainment with the rock band, U2.

The extension of 'U2: UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere' marks U2's return to live performances after a four-year hiatus.

It is exclusively hosted at Sphere and the show will have a total of 36 dates now scheduled until February 18, 2024.

For these performances, Bono, The Edge and Adam Clayton will once again be joined by Bram van den Berg, who will be standing in for Larry Mullen Jr. on drums.

The newly announced dates include two shows during Super Bowl Weekend.

Presale tickets for the new dates are available to U2.com paid subscribers, commencing on October 19, 2023, at 10am PT and concluding on October 21, 2023, at 10pm PT.

General ticket sales will commence on October 25, 2023, at 11 am PT on Ticketmaster.com.

Additionally, the (RED) Zone, offering an exclusive VIP riser experience with 50 tickets available at each show, is on sale, with proceeds benefiting (RED), the organisation co-founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 to combat AIDS and related injustices.

The MSG Sphere, located just off the Las Vegas Strip, east of the Venetian and Palazzo, is a next-generation entertainment venue where artists, creators and technologists converge to produce live content.

As the entertainment sector grows within Las Vegas, the gambling industry in the city has shown success. For example, Las Vegas’s MGM Resorts reported a substantial surge in their Q1 financial results. The company disclosed a $501m increase in casino revenue.
