MGM Resorts appoints Dana Reynolds as Director of Brand Marketing at The Cosmopolitan

Reynolds will start the new year in a similar position, but at a new property on the Las Vegas Strip.

MGM Resorts has appointed Dana Reynolds as its new Director of Brand Marketing.

The position will focus on The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas property, which is a casino resort located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.

The Cosmopolitan was opened on 15 December 2010 and cost $3.9bn to build, and was eventually sold to MGM in 2022.

Across the two hotel towers, the property has over 3,000 rooms, studios and suites.

On the gaming floor, the casino has 1,300+ slot machines, with denominations running up to $500.

Prior to this, Reynolds worked in the same position at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, and before that, she was the Director of Marketing at Luxor Hotel & Casino, both operated by MGM Resorts on the Strip.

She joined Luxor in September 2020 and moved to Mandalay Bay in August 2021.

On the appointment, Reynolds said: “New year, new beginnings. 2024 starts with a new chapter at MGM Resorts, leading brand marketing for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

“Being thankful is an understatement for my time with Mandalay Bay and Luxor. My entry into hospitality was met with learning from the best in the business.”

However, MGM Resorts isn’t the only company in the industry that Reynolds has experience with.

She joined Aristocrat in 2011 as the Manager of Marking Communications, before being promoted to the Director and then Senior Director of the same department.

In other Strip news, the Culinary and Bartenders Union in Las Vegas has announced the deadline for its upcoming strike, which is set to take place in February.
