XY Legal Solutions, the brain behind Dutch 'Keurmerk Verantwoorde Affiliates (KVA)', is extending its reach with the introduction of the Quality Mark Responsible Affiliates (QMRA) across six regulated markets: Spain, Norway, the UK, Denmark, Germany and Sweden.

The application process for affiliates is straightforward. Interested parties simply submit their applications, with each website requiring a separate submission through a contact form. The QMRA Team then reviews the website(s), adhering to the specific compliance codes tailored for each market.

These QMRA compliance codes also serve as a distilled guide to the laws in the specified regions, ensuring affiliates align with the regulatory landscape.

Membership fees for QMRA stand at €695 ($757) per website annually – excluding VAT – with a discounted rate of €595 available for companies operating three or more websites.

The decision to launch the Quality Mark in these markets stems from the success of KVA in the Netherlands – a success that appeared to highlight a global demand for a standardised affiliate quality mark.

As compliance requirements continue to escalate in the iGaming sector across regulated markets, affiliates are facing increasing pressure to demonstrate their ability to meet and maintain these standards.

The QMRA quality mark therefore hopes to act as a badge of trustworthiness for affiliates, showcasing their commitment to compliance to operators. Moreover, the QMRA compliance procedures aim to offer affiliates a resource for navigating and understanding the intricate web of relevant legislation.
