Rivalry, a player in the sports betting industry, has launched a marketing initiative that hopes to captivate NBA enthusiasts. The initiative comes in the form of collectible cards, known as “Rivalry Booster Packs.”

These physical collectibles are crafted in-house and showcase hand-drawn illustrations on each card. The illustrations are vibrant and diverse, featuring NBA players, esports-inspired characters, creator partners and more.

Rivalry has tried to set these booster packs apart from similar collectibles by incorporating special rewards that can be redeemed for both digital and real-world prizes.

The Booster Packs come in various rarities, with higher-tier cards featuring a QR code on the back. Users can scan these codes to claim rewards such as NBA merchandise, gift cards and bonus bets on Rivalry's sportsbook and casino platforms.

Customers of Rivalry in Southeast Asia engaging in NBA wagers will automatically enter the draw to earn their own Booster Packs. Throughout the season, lucky users will then be randomly selected to receive these packs.

Additionally, Rivalry plans to collaborate with its creator partners to live-stream pack openings to their followers.

With regard to this new launch, Grant Flannery, Global Head of Marketing at Rivalry, commented: “Rivalry has found repeatable success using its creative design to usher in new and exclusive experiences in sports betting for its customers that they won’t find elsewhere.

“There is a growing audience of NBA fans on Rivalry and our Booster Packs are set to add another meaningful element to engage them throughout the season.”
