Birches Health and Sporttrade have announced a collaborative effort to promote awareness and resources for problem gambling during Problem Gambling Awareness Month (March).
This partnership seeks to increase public understanding of problem gambling and provide support services for prevention, treatment and recovery.
Through this alliance, Sporttrade users will gain access to a range of Responsible Gaming resources and services.
Birches Health specialises in behavioural health services focusing on problem gambling prevention and treatment in the United States.
The organisation offers online educational resources, learning modules and treatment options led by licensed behavioural health clinicians.
Elliott Rapaport, Birches Health Founder, said: “Through a collective focus on the promotion of responsible gaming and sustainable play, we are ensuring that individuals are able to access these resources. We are pleased to partner with Sporttrade to ensure that individuals looking for these resources are able to swiftly and securely access high-quality care.”
Arpita McGrath, Sporttrade CCO, added: “In the initial conversation with Birches Health, it was a no-brainer that this industry needs this and I want to make sure Sporttrade patrons have access to this valuable resource. My biggest question at the end of the initial conversation with Birches was: ‘How quickly can we implement this?.'”
Sporttrade launched its sports betting service in Colorado last year and has expanded to other states, including New Jersey.
The company operates as a sports trading platform, allowing customers to trade in and out of positions on sports outcomes, similar to stock trading.
