BtoBet CEO to speak on eSports betting in South Africa at BiG Africa Summit

ming stakeholders are meeting in Cape Town this week as the 4th Annual BiG Africa Summit gets underway today.

Compliance issues, responsibilities and the future of the market in South Africa will be major topics discussed at the summit.

ESports will be a significant point of interest for discussion as it continues to grow in popularity, not unnoticed by the major investors, brands, advertisers, and gaming houses worldwide. International analysis speculates eSports will play a key role in the future of sports betting, with an estimated global wagering market of $23bn by 2020.

South Africa is quickly catching up to this international trend and operators will have the opportunity to discover more about this at the summit in Cape Town.

The South African gaming industry is currently worth over R2.6bn, with estimations to reach R3.6bn by 2019.
