al games developers Akamon Entertainment have released their first mobile product.

Bingo Rider is a 90-ball multiplayer social bingo game which sees players receive 5,000 chips and 50 cards for free, while they can also purchase virtual chips to further their playing experience.

The iOS mobile and tablet product, which is downloadable free from the Apple Appstore, shares liquidity across 11 million Akamon players in real-time, no matter what platform they are accessing the game on.

In its first week at the Appstore, Bingo Rider reached the top spot in the board and casino game categories in Spain, France, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia, while also performing well in most other Latin American and European markets.

An Android version of the game is likely to be launched before the end of Q2 2013.

Akamon Entertainment head of bingo David Jané said: “We have developed a mobile game that allows users to pair the game with other tasks and have an exceptional gaming experience shared with other users, translating the success of the online game to new interactive screens and emphasising the social aspects, reproducing the experience of a real, traditional bingo game in the palm of your hand.”

Vicenc Marti, Akamon CEO, added: “The launch of Bingo Rider and five other mobile games throughout 2013 is the first step to turn Akamon into a mobile-first company, and will allow Akamon to consolidate its position as a main player in social gaming throughout the company's natural markets of Latin America and Southern Europe.”
