Gamblit launches skill based gaming terminals in Harrah’s resort

Cali

Harrahs1
fornia based casino game developer Gamblit Games has launched its first skill-based gaming terminal installation at Harrah’s Resort Southern California, near San Diego.

It follows the signing of a deal between Caesars Entertainment and Gamblit in September 2016 and the commencement of a 30-day field trial of two of the company’s most popular games in Caesars Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

The games are offered via Gamblit’s Model G gaming table, which can host between two and four players around a 42” touchscreen.

Further Gamblit products will be introduced in the casino once final regulatory approval is confirmed.

Speaking at the launch Harrah’s General Manager Darrell Pilant said "Gamblit's games and tables are evolutionary steps in the right direction for the modern gaming industry, and we are honoured to be the first casino in California to offer the experience."

Gamblit CMO Darion Lowenstein told the San Diego Union Tribune that hardware production “can’t keep up with the demand; we are filling orders placed a year ago.”

The company is in discussions over a similar installation deal with MGM resorts, which hopes to use Gamblit’s products to draw in younger gamblers.
