MPN have launched a new fast-fold heads-up poker variant.
Heads Up 8 Man Blaze sees up to eight players enter a liquidity pool to play one on one.
However unlike traditional heads-up fast-fold tables, players can only enter each liquidity pool once, with competitors capped at eight per pool.
The new variant is designed to closely replicate the experience of playing at a traditional heads-up table but with much more action.
It is hoped that the game, which will replace all regular heads-up tables on the MPN, will solve the problem of ‘bum-hunting’ whereby players wait at a heads-up table for a weaker opponent to arrive while refusing to face a player of equal or better skill.
Microgaming head of network games Lydia Melton said: “This release is the latest in a long line of recreational player-friendly developments for the MPN.
“I truly believe that we have developed an exceptional product for our operators to utilise, and I’m extremely excited about being, once again, first to market with such a player-focused software feature.”
