Badminton World Federation (BWF) and 12Bet have signed a partnership deal for the upcoming 2017 World championships taking place in Glasgow in August.

The sponsorship will see 12Bet gain "product category exclusivity and branding within the arena’s field of play" as stated on the BWF’s official website (BWFworldchampionships.com).

BWF Secretary General Thomas Lund welcomed 12BET as an official partner of BWF’s biggest individual event this year and one that’s guaranteed massive global appeal.

“We are pleased to add 12BET as a corporate partner for the TOTAL BWF World Championships in Glasgow. This tournament is the highlight of the 2017 season, bringing together badminton’s most accomplished players. It will be watched keenly by millions globally and will offer significant worldwide exposure for the 12BET brand,” noted Lund.

12BET spokesman Rory Anderson stated that he was delighted to add the TOTAL BWF World Championships to the company’s growing sports sponsorship portfolio: “It is a huge event that will be broadcast in several of our key target markets. All the top players in the world will be taking part. We wish them the best of luck in what promises to be an enthralling event.”

With this partnership 12BET has expanded its foray with sports organisations which already include Sevilla FC, major snooker events and Leicester City FC.
