The fourth holding of the annual invite-only event, which takes place at the Mount Murray Hotel on 12 November, is set to feature international industry experts as well as key representatives of the local cluster.

The Summit begins with an overview of the Isle of Man (IOM) government’s approach to supporting and developing the local sector, before an opening address from KPMG Isle of Man e-gaming director Russell Kelly. GBGC chief executive Warwick Bartlett will be in attendance to outline the global picture for gaming, while the morning session will also feature an IOM-specific sector update from the Isle of Man’s new head of e-gaming Peter Greenhill and Gambling Supervision Commission CEO Steve Brennan.

Also on the agenda is Dominic Atkinson of Tailorbet, discussing the evolution of sports betting, and the day’s opening panel session, on the topic of enforcement, hosted by Hilary Stewart-Jones of global law firm DLA Piper.

After lunch KPMG’s head of e-gaming Archie Watt will introduce a second panel session covering payments, which is followed by a presentation from Microgaming’s Neill Whyte on the outlook for mobile gaming.

Later in the afternoon comes an economic review of the proposed changes in UK online gambling legislation by the Remote Gambling Association’s Sue Rossiter and KPMG gambling tax policy specialists Bill Robinson and Adam Rivers. A third panel session on the future of e-gaming will then round off the day.

KPMG Isle of Man’s Russell Kelly said: “We’re looking forward to what is set to be a great day of sharing knowledge, strategy and insight, and building stronger community relationships in the process.”
