Catena Media hires new Head of Communications

pean affiliate network Catena Media have announced the appointment of Åsa Hillsten as the firms new head of compliance and investor relations, replacing current head Anne Rhenman.

Hilsten has extensive experience with the communications and investor relations sector, having most recently served as chief communications officer at Swedish based digital banking firm Collector AB. In her new role, she will be responsible for Catena Media’s internal and external corporate communications and investor relations and will join the firm as of the 8th January 2018.

2017 has been a busy period for the affiliate heavyweight with record revenue growth and a number of high profile affiliate acquisitions, most recently agreeing the purchase of an unnamed Japanese affiliate network.

In a statement announcing the appointment, Catena Media CEO Robert Andersson said: ”We are happy to welcome Åsa Hillsten to the organization. Åsa has precisely the background we have been looking for, and will play an important role in the company’s PR and IR communications, following our recent move to Mid Cap, Nasdaq Stockholm.”

Åsa Hillsten added:”I am looking forward to working with Catena Media, which currently is in a very interesting position for future growth. The sector is in an early phase, and Catena Media’s digital business model, together with the scalability of its business, is both exciting and has fantastic potential. My background from communications, from Collector among others, gives me a solid platform for the work ahead.”
