Buckley will join on 3 December, using her wealth of industry experience to help guide the supplier.
She spent eight years with Inspired Entertainment and has more than a decade of experience in the gaming market.
Buckley said: “I’m excited to be joining Nektan at this pivotal point in the Company’s growth. Nektan’s player-focused technology and services have been proven in the European casino market and the Company is making significant headway into new B2B revenue streams and additional markets."
Gary Shaw will cease to be Interim Chief Executive Officer but will continue as Executive Director at Nektan after Buckley's appointment.
He said: “Lucy will help to build on our most recent successes, as we continue to win new contracts and deliver additional revenue streams. We very much look forward to welcoming Lucy to Nektan at this exciting time for the business.”
