Veikkaus is Finland’s only licensed gambling operator, and the deal will see its online casino bolstered with a broad range of NetEnt’s digital games.

Henrik Fagerlund, MD NetEnt Malta and CPO of NetEnt, said: “We are very proud to enter this collaboration with Finland’s largest gaming operator Veikkaus.

“The deal is an important milestone for our presence on the Finnish market and I am convinced that our thrilling games will be much appreciated by Veikkaus’ players.”

Veikkaus is expected to launch NetEnt’s content on its platform in the first half of 2019 and, with the agreement running for a period of four years, NetEnt estimates total revenue between €5m ($5.75m) and €9m ($10.4m).

Jan Hagelberg, Veikkaus VP of Casino Games, said: “We are delighted to partner with NetEnt, known for its iconic games and innovative gaming solutions.

“NetEnt’s games have been proven to perform well and are constantly asked for by our loyal customers. We are excited to be able to offer them soon in our online casino.”

Veikkaus operates in both online and offline markets, generating turnover of €3.2m in 2017.
