Lottery picks up in China

China’s Ministry of Finance announced March earned RMB10.5b ($1.5b), a 70% drop from the same month the previous year. Despite the downturn, operators are slowly coming back after the pandemic shutdowns. While lotteries suffered losses during the 105-day lockdown, with February bringing in only RMB1m, March was the more successful month for Q1.
