Ed Craven, Stake Co-Founder, said: “Everyone at Stake stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. Our hearts go out to all those innocently involved in this tragic conflict. We hope this contribution will go far to aid and support the brave and resilient Ukrainian people.

"As the global crypto community rallies to raise vital aid funds, we’ve donated $1m, or 25.63 BTC to the humanitarian relief cause to support the protection and basic human rights of those displaced.”

Founded in 2017, Stake maintains a brand focus on engaging the player community, which is highlighted through its VIP rewards programme and the use of technology integrations such as live chat and content streaming.

Over the past week, there has been much support for the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis within the gaming community. Most recently we brought news of several organisations who have set up a JustGiving page with the aim of raising £250,000 ($330,000) for refugees.

While other companies such as Parimatch Tech have pledged to use their advertising space to show support to an end to the war. In addition to this, Softswiss is to suspend all marketing activities to focus on providing funds for Ukraine. As a company, it is also helping refugees who have crossed the border and need help in finding accommodation in host countries.
