Yggdrasil completes UK launch

Yggd

Yggdrasillogo
rasil Gaming has now conducted a full rollout of its full suite of games in the UK after being granted the relevant licensing by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).

UKGC granted the licence to Yggdrasil, which only offers online and mobile casino content, in December, and the provider’s iSense2.0 platform and full suite of games will be available to UK players via their respective partners.

Yggdrasil says it currently has signed agreements with six UK clients, the most notable of which being Unibet, Betsson, LeoVegas and Mr Green, while the other two are Vera&John and ComeOn.

Betsson has been granted a UK gaming licence but it is yet to accept business from UK players and its status on UKGC’s website reads as “inactive”.

The UK contracts with LeoVegas, Mr Green and Unibet were all signed in the fourth quarter of 2015.

The latest news comes after Yggdrasil reported some successful financial results for the full year 2015, with revenues increasing 357% to SEK 20.1m (£1.73m) and full year bet turnover going up 544% to SEK 3.89bn (£330m).
