Betsson has appointed Paolo Guerrero as its new Global Casino Ambassador.
Guerrero is a professional Peruvian footballer who has played for Bayern Munich, Corinthians and is the all-time top scorer for the Peruvian national team.
Some of his achievements include being the first Peruvian to be nominated for the FIFA Ballon d'Or in 2015, as well as scoring the winning goal of the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup final for Corinthians.
On his appointment, Guerrero said: “I’m very excited to work hand in hand with Betsson, which is not only a leading company in Peru, but is successfully expanding throughout Latin America.”
As Global Casino Ambassador, Guerrero will represent the company and be included in various campaigns and branding.
He has already been featured in the latest Betsson online casino advert.

As a leading Peruvian football icon, this appointment supports Betsson’s expansion into the Latin American market.
The company has recently signed a deal with Boca Juniors and Racing Club in Argentina, as well as Atlético Nacional in Colombia.
