Rio Hotel & Casino will be hosting a college basketball viewing party on 21 March and 22 March, coinciding with the first round of the NCAA Division I Basketball Tournament.

The event will take place at the WOW Theater within the resort starting at 9am, featuring multiple games on an oversized projector screen along with food and beverage options available for purchase.

Admission to the party will be free, with VIP table packages offered for those interested in an enhanced experience. The packages include different levels of access and amenities, such as drink and food tickets.

Following the viewing party, guests can continue to watch the tournament at various venues within the resort, including the Race & Sportsbook, Masquerade Bar and Shutters Bar.

This event follows Rio Hotel & Casino's recent initiatives to bolster its offerings, including hosting hiring events for over 100 food and beverage positions for its upcoming Canteen Food Hall. The hiring events aimed to fill full-time and part-time positions across the resort's food and beverage outlets.

Additionally, Rio Hotel & Casino introduced the Rio Rewards program in October 2023, a loyalty initiative catering to both locals and visitors. This program was part of the establishment's transition under Dreamscape Companies, which acquired the property from Caesars Entertainment in 2019.

Furthermore, Rio Hotel & Casino partnered with IGT in June 2023 to implement the IGT Advantage casino management system, aimed at improving gaming operations.
