Star Entertainment fined AU$140,000 after pleading guilty to 11 charges

The incidents happened between 2017-2022. Star Entertainment has been fined AU$140,000 (US$92,000) following an investigation by the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) in Queensland. The fine was issued for allowing customers to illegally use credit cards to purchase gambling chips at both its Brisbane and Gold Coast casinos.
